Upcycled Sweatshirt with Floral Stripe Appliqué – Blue, Grey, & Off-White

Description

This one-of-a-kind sweatshirt is made from a thrifted sweatshirt that had bleach stains near the lower hem (some of the damage is shown in photos). I covered the damage with simple quilted strips. Instead of just patching the small spot, I carried the strips across the entire front of the sweatshirt to create a unique new look.

The patch fabric is 100% cotton. The sweatshirt itself is a comfy medium weight cotton/poly blend.

Each piece I make is totally unique and made with thrifted and vintage textiles—perfect for folks who love sustainable fashion, upcycled clothing, and handmade style with a story.
